Research

CETA works hand-in-hand with our world-leading research group that studies technology abuse in IPV. Our research generates crucial knowledge that demonstrates technology’s role in IPV and develops and tests innovative solutions that aid survivors. We routinely publish ground-breaking, multidisciplinary research at top computer security and human-computer interaction venues, where our research has received prestigious awards. Importantly, CETA ensures that our research can be grounded in the lived experiences of the survivors we serve, providing a critical avenue for ensuring the academic research community is survivor-aligned.

More information about our academic research, including the peer-reviewed publications upon which CETA's best practices are based,  can be found at https://ipvtechresearch.org.
